    Solo Woman Ride through Kosovo. EP 33



    Although it’s been 20 years since the Kosovo War, Kosovo’s political and ethnic differences remain a sensitive subject even today. In 2018 Kosovo declared independence from Serbia which was recognised by the USA and most EU nations, but not by Serbia, Russia, China and a few others. Once crossing the border I was keen to see if Kosovo had progressed… new buildings, new petrol stations, modern shopping centres, roads in good condition… just like any other country in the Balkans or Eastern Europe and no sign of the war anywhere. I spent 2 nights there visiting Pristina and Prizen… enjoying all I could of what Kosovo has to offer.

    In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don’t know my final destination or the duration of this journey.

      hello, can you guide me how to cross border by road on own car ?? means if i got visa and i want to go from 1 country to another on my own car so what do i need except visa on my pasport and papers of car ?

      Get over people! You took Kosova in 1913 with genocide and left it 100 years later the same way with genocide! Don't you feel Ashamed?
      You may repeat the stupid slogan over and over. It ain't gonna be Serbia ever!
      95 % Albanians living there who want nothing to do with Serbia, what are you thinking? Why do you keep banging your heads over and over something which is a waste of your time.
