Both sides of the cranks look like this. I removed two 8mm bolts (one from either side) and it revealed this. I have a tool but it doesn’t seem to work (it just pushes on the hex shape inside the hole) and nothing on Google or YouTube seems to be the same style…

Can that black portion of the tip of the extractor be flipped?
I think the cranks are “SR Suntour Duro” with a “Hexon” BB but I’m not 100% sure. That’s a Google search result.

Go to the hardware store and find a hex bolt or carriage bolt that fits into that hole in your spindle and use the crankarm extractor to push against the head of the new bolt inside your spindle. Make sure it clears the crank arms (the hole where that hex nut currently is)
