Since the first prototypes from almost 50 years ago, @bromptonbicycle foldable bikes have barely changed. But why not? During his keynote as part of this year’s EUROBIKE Start-Up & Innovation Days, CEO of the English cult brand, Will Butler-Adams, provided some insights into the history of the brand and outlined his vision.

He pointed out that the bike industry has the potential to transport the masses and turn them into cyclists, to change cities and lead the way in matters of sustainability. Yet, with ever new trends and technical refinements, the bike is making itself accessible to an exclusive group only – while becoming daunting for all others.

Discover in this video how all of this could change in the recording of his keynote!

  1. An amazing presentation, this needs to be shown in schools and offices all across the country in our cities and towns, showed to politicians who can change our roads to build safer and more inviting infrastructure to allow cycling into our lives and not be an elitist sport dominated by white males.
