If anyone was wondering, a Shimano SLX CS-M7000 11-40 cassette can replace the stock 105 11-34 cassette using the original 810 derailleur. Pretty simple fix to get some more range out back. Can’t go larger than 40 but this provides some a better climbing gear fairly cheap.

FYI the 11-40 also works just fine on shimano 2x drivetrains.
I’m rocking 11-42 with 2x up front. Shifting wasn’t the best on stock mount, but wolf tooth road link dm fixed it right up.
