Which gravel bike is a better value?

Looking at these two bikes and wondering which looks like a better value based on the specs? Kind of a newb, so the specifics go over my head for each of these bikes.

I tend to over-fixate a little on hobbies, so I’m sure I’ll put some money into altering/upgrading….but as it stands now this is about the price point I’m comfortable getting into for the base. Would be open to other suggestions is something is slightly more expensive.
