the most reliable square taper crank:
When you’re home check the taper in the loose crank is still square and hasn’t been rounded/made jagged, it can fuck the crank pretty quickly if so 🤝

You did the right thing, not using it. I had a loose left once, on a cheaper crank. Riding it home was enough to round out the hole, hence it never would stay tight again[>>>replacement].
That riser bar angle is killing me my man lol
I had my left crank arm come off during a brakess hill bomb once, scary stuff!
