I work in a museum and this bike has no information associated with it except for license plates from the 1940’s. Can someone please help me identify it?
Hello! This bike has no decals or labels at all. So far I’ve successfully identified most of the bicycles in our collection, but this one is a mystery. Any information would be super helpful. Thank you!
I would post a request for help on [the Cabe](https://thecabe.com/). This is a community of enthusiasts and experts in bikes like this.

It looks a lot like this one listed as a Schwinn Excelsior. The somewhat unique bends of the top tubes makes me think it’s a match, but I’m not an expert.

What a wicked leather saddle !
I would also recommend posting to bike forums. There’s a very active vintage community there and they really know their stuff.
