Hi guys,

I intend a steel bike for long-range cycling, mostly over relatively smooth roads. This bike seems a bit overkill for comfort, but for the price it seems good. It definitely seems heavy and a bit slow uphill, but at the same time I find it really good looking and for the price it actually seems quite alright.

I do worry about the crankset since it all seems Breezer its own homebrew. No idea if it is a problem or that much worse quality wise than other cranksets in the similar price range, but long-term definitely not that great, right? What do you guys think? If I were to replace even a chainring, it’d all have to be specific to the crankset, I believe.
Also the cassette is mountain bike specific, I believe. Not a deal breaker as I do not see the downsides.
Another contestant is the Genesis CDF 30 or Genesis Equilibrium: both are lighter, seem higher quality and got more well known components. However they both come around 2.1k-2.5k I could buy two Breezer Radar Expert for that amount. I also know little about the differences in the steel of quality.

What do you guys think?
