Was pulling my hair out last night trying to get my wheels setup tubeless… couldn’t get the bead set. Valve core removed, blasting with air compressor and constantly moving around tire to push it to the edge.
Someone recommended putting a strap around the tire which pushed the bead outwards. Hit it with the air gun and the got it set!
I’m sure this could be helpful to others π

Corvus carbon wheels and 45Nrth tires. Slip the tires on, remove valve core, inflate with compressor, I start bead seating every time.
My rims are stubborn about getting the last 6β of bead fully seated, even going over the max PSI by a good margin, adding lube, etc. Itβs holding air but, not fully locked in. I found that if you run the unseated area under hot water in the kitchen sink it softens the rubber and snaps it on. If you want to really weird out the spouse, you can do it in the tub.
