Unfortunately, I recently drove over a large stone, the tire burst and the rim got a decent dent. It’s a rim brake wheel, so I’m wondering whether it can be repaired or whether there’s no point in doing so. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I don’t see a dent. All I see is a little chip. Is that what you’re referring to? If so dab some epoxy in there and remount your tire (let it dry first). Nothing to be concerned about.
