Hi guys, any ideas why there is cancer warning on this spork? I am from europe and I assume thats a USA law, but it would be weird if park tool would sell something which is unsafe to use. However it is still a bit worrying.

Anything sold in California has to have that label on it. There’s no logical reason behind it.

This spork is made of plastics that release chemicals know for being endocrine disruptors or hormone disruptors

There’s a John Oliver episode about prop-65. It seems silly to slap it on (almost) everything, but it stopped companies from producing products that were actually super harmful.
Just don’t eat your weight in sporks. Hand wash only, with a soft sponge and organic soap. You’ll get cancer a different way. It’ll be fine.
This is a California thing – I wish they’d make the warnings more specific or list the actual chemicals, and as others have pointed out they’re on many, many things you buy in California.
Is that an actual bicycle tool? How do you use is?
Essentially it contains less than trace amounts of harmful chemicals, like lead and stuff. But if it takes 100 relatieve units of lead to cause harm, this may contain only like 0.1, but as it still contains lead they have to put a p65 on it. I’m not saying it has lead, but could be any of the chemicals under p65, so it could be in the tens of thousandths of a gram of any given chemical
