Hi all! I am a bike touring newb and want some advice. I test-rode a second hand bike today which is the MEC Cote, steel frame. The owner is, sadly, deceased. I noticed when I rode it today that the handle bars are bent. It’s noticeable but not by much – the person who is in possession of it right now didn’t even notice, and doesn’t know how it happened. How worried should I be about the frame being cracked? Photos for reference but you honestly can’t tell in the photo. Link to original bike specs from the MEC site. Thanks in advance!
