I just picked up the Crux comp to get me back out in nature. I was riding a little ole REI bike so this is a nice upgrade. I’m not completely new to biking, as I’ve done a bunch of MTB.
I have Shimano pedals attached. The rest of the bike is stock.
I’m looking to slowly make upgrades when I feel like I know what I want out of my bike and the kinds of rides I do.
I’d love to get more ideas of different gear, accessories, and clothing that riders like and the types of rides you do.

that reflector should be repositioned or removed before a passing car causes it to blind or daze you at night.

This will make for a super lightweight and versatile repair kit. The pump is a pain in the ass, but its so light, and only for an absolute emergency if your tubeless system really fails, which is shouldn’t.

Other than that, consider tripping your chain and using a wax based lube. Never mind the claimed marginal gains of waxing, its all about the cleanliness. Imagine being able to grab your chain and not get dirty or covered in grease at all. Its seriously amazing.
Silca chain stripper and their drip wax is amazing and we use it in the shop on customer bikes all the time. Almost every customer that comes into our shop for our higher tier tunes ups switches to wax and they love it, as do we.
So much cleaner.
