Snagged this 80s colnago track for a decent price. I’ve wanted one of these grail steel track bikes from the 80s since I got into fg. Even better is that it’s a bit tattered so that I don’t feel guilty when I bang it up while riding.
It definitely needs at least a bb service so I am working on that. My bike guy hooked me up w this stem to replace the og bullmoose bars it came w which are hilarious. Threw on my campy cranks, twisted spoke wheels, atac pedals, and these wald cruisers for now.
It came with this extreme setback seatpost and the ‘91 flite saddle, campagnolo record hubs laced to tubular rims.
Priority for me is the bb, then patiently looking for the right parts. I’m looking for quality stuff that isn’t too flashy or pristine as I don’t think it would match the frames character. Lmk of some rim suggestions that I can lace those campy hubs to.
Front tire clearance and toe overlap is insane. I’ve never had a bike be limited in clearance by the down tube before.

I would lean into that color scheme. Red and blue tires, white or blue saddle, and some red grips 🔥
