I bought this bike and I am trying to figure out exactly what fork it is.
When I use the bike help center on fox I can either use the number on the id sticker on the fork or a serial number that is engraved on the back of the fork. Using both of these I get a different model.
The sticker tells me it’s a 2020 with 180mm of travel
The engraved number tells me it’s a 2019 with 160mm of travel

  1. Measure how much travel it has. It looks like 180. That also looks like a Grip damper, so it’s probably the 2020.

When I measure it is slightly less than 180mm from the seals to the very top of the stanchions

If you want you can call fox support give them the tune ID and they should be able to tell you what it is.

  4. Yours has a grip 2 damper, not a fit 4. If you want to measure it, take all the air out and fully compress and see if it goes all the way (180mm) or you have a couple cm left (160mm).

    ID: DQGL–> Part number: 910-20-759

    Description: 2020, 36, K, FLOAT, 27.5in, F-S, 180, Grip 2, HSC, LSC, HSR, LSR, Shiny Orange, BLK/Yellow Logo, 15QRx110, 1.5 T, 44mm Rake Matte BIK, AM

  6. Looks like other folks have ID’ed it as the 180 grip 2. But keep in mind changing travel is pretty easy on these (swapping out the air spring) so someone could have shortened it to less travel. Within the range of the fork you should be able to change the travel to suit your needs for the air spring (~$50 last time I did it, plus labor unless you know what you are doing).
