The McLaren 750S delivers crazy performance but how does it cope with a 2000-mile road trip to Monaco using some of the best driver’s roads France has to offer plus is it a better driver’s car than Ferrari’s 296 GTB?

  1. Is it just me or do all McLarens look more less the same? Personally I think the Ferrari is a much prettier car overall. Surprised that the McLaren doesn’t have wireless CarPlay especially for a car in that price range. Amazing roads, and the car does sound great.

  2. Great to see a ‘well considered’ review of this great car. I’m a bit of a Macca fan but have been slightly disappointed in the past with build quali (as is normal with many supercars maybe apart from Porsche). This looks good though – a very complete car! Hopefully it will stand the test of time as I certainly can’t afford a new one.

  3. Harry does a great job of driving rarified cars properly on roads deserving of such a motor. This time he picked almost the exact route I’m taking to St.Tropez in May. Thanks for the preview Harry, it looks brilliant 👍

  4. Superlative video and analysis – many thanks. Outstanding critique too. This must be a wearing and stressful business for you Harry – l stand ready to support, should you need any help!

  5. Oh no! I missed the opportunity to go and see you and that McLaren in person 😥I live in Antibes not far away from the port. Awesome car, superb video as always!

  6. Had a 720S for a long time, from launch. Niggles aside, it was a phenomenal car. Ballistic performance and steering feel you wont find anywhere else. It was a bit cumbersome in my village, grumpy when cold, terrible on fuel. 650S before was much more likely to try and spit you off though, despite the speed the 720s always felt like it was on my side. Great value now, and looks like the 750S is the 2.0 it perhaps couldve been from the beginning with a bit more development time

  7. Hi Harry. You're, right. That McLaren does look good in 'Serpentine Green'. I once had an Audi 3 Sportback in a very similar colour – it was my most favourite car!

  8. Great content just can’t like that car it somehow looks dated even though it’s new I don’t know i just don’t like it..
    Thanks 👍🙏

  9. There were some lovely roads there. I will be in the Dordogne on Saturday and Sunday on two wheels not four and I will be staying in a tent not a château. I can’t wait.

  10. Got to say that green colour from the F1days transforms the car makes it look how it should of been from the star off the 720s era.. definitely would have that down in a head beat if the euromilians came up..

  11. Absolutely wonderful!
Wether it’s the scenery, the cars or your Mrs Metcalfe’s camera work!
    Always sensational content

    Totally agree on the colour!
Reminds me of the LT F1 spec, I think 750 is a really handsome thing…I just hope more are specced like this & not just black, grey & white etc

  12. Those A110s looked fantastic. Would love to take mine down there.

I wouldn’t kick the McLaren out of bed but I’d be thinking of the A110!

  13. It is a beautiful car. The McLaren performance is SOTA.
But the rods are likely bent after 2000 miles and the car will depreciate like no other. I could never get past those points to own one.

  14. This guy is a great reviewer. But that McLaren is plain dull. I guess it’s aimed at what Clarkson used to call “people with adenoids”.

Personally I wouldn’t be my happiest driving out there with a hard metal roof over my head. Going to the south of France, surely you would prefer a convertible / cabriolet. You want to see the scenery, all of it. You want to feel the sun and the air. Some people want to be seen, too.

    “Mode cannot change” 😂

  15. This is probably the best supercar out there at the moment. The only bad news is that McLarens tend to depreciate heavily while Ferrari and Lambo drivers enjoy their cars for years and sell them for more than they paid (especially Ferrari) Thanks for another excellent review Harry!!

  16. When you take it back to McLaren tell the work experience teenager to try again with the wheels, hideous, they look like cheap aftermarket rubbish.

  17. I think i figured out one of the reason why i like Harry's videos. he's just calm talking though the video whereas other YT'ers just shout at the camera with fake energy. I like harry's style of videos too. ill keep watching and keep liking

  18. Thanks for taking us on this trip, love your videos and car journalism! I totally agree with Ferraris and some other auto maker direction on haptic controls
