On the [site](https://www.specialized.com/) they sell Epic HT, Epic HT Comp, Epic HT Pro (not all models are recent, some are from past few years) and everywhere regarding the frame it says only FACT 11m, progressive XC, rider 1st and other marketing stuff. I’m asking because it seems to me that price increases are not always proportional to component upgrades that go with name (Comp, Pro…) so I wonder is there difference in frame itself? Thanks.

All specialised frames are made by Merida, and how they do it is the whole model range will share a frame, and the spec number defines what parts on the bike, a big trail 200 and 700 have exactly the same frame but hugely different part specs.

I assume specialised use the same system

As long as the carbon layup is the same (Fact 11m) then yes, typically the s works is the only model with a different carbon layup. The price is likely set for the different models before they spec them, and then they come up with component builds to fit the budget
