MTB track from Lewes to Eastbourne and going back to Lewes all over the Cliffs, with a very good view of Eastbourne, and going by Seaford, Newhaven, Peacehaven, Saltdean and Rottingdean and Brighton.
Great track and views on a very hot and sunny day on August 2022. The complete route is 100 mile (160 Km) long South Downs Way follows the old routes and droveways along the chalk escarpment and ridges of the South Downs. Enjoy the stunning long distance views, picturesque villages, thatched pubs and cosy tea rooms.
It is a classic Route from MTB. Perhaps a little bit long 92km, but with some meal to eat in the middle of the track, a trip you shouldn’t miss.
