Today, I take you on the tracks of the first edition of the Nice Côte d’Azur by UTMB, an exceptional race that connects the Alps to the Mediterranean, passing through the varied landscapes of the Nice Côte d’Azur metropolis.
The 111 km distance, which started from Roubion, a charming village perched in the mountains, and ended in Nice, on the famous Promenade des Anglais. Along this course, discovere the beauty and diversity of the Nice region, between forests, lakes, ridges, valleys, picturesque villages and seaside. Face the difficulties of the elevation, with more than 4700 meters of ascent and descent, and the weather conditions, with sun, rain and wind.
