    How wide is the Bb she’ll, exactly? It’s likely a square taper BSA, turn lock rings in the direction of wheel rotation to loosen (if BSA)

    Its a BSA bottom bracket from FAG, use the [proper tool](https://www.bike24.com/p2276589.html), and even then you aren’t guaranteed from destroying it when removing. Make sure to use a retention device on the tool, to hold it to the BB, this will give you the best chance of removing it non-destructively.

    Edit: Remove the non drive side first, anti-clockwise, then drive side, clockwise (it’s a left hand thread).

    What is a retention tool? Or better put what do you use to press the tool into bottom bearing.

    It’s fairly self explanatory. FAG BB tool. Also Thun make some with same fitting. Unscrews as a normal bsa thread bottom bracket with this tool:
