Hey folks, I’m in a bit of a quandary here. I’m looking to transition from gravel riding to something a bit speedier, and I’m torn on which frame size to go for. Currently, I’m riding a Carbondale 505 SL in size M with a 90mm stem. I’m 181cm (5’11”) with an 81cm (32″) inseam.
My new bike is probably going to be a Sohtea, but I can’t decide between the 54 and 56. From the first looks of it the 56 looks probably more closer to my 505sl, but I’m concerned about the long reach potentially necessitating a very short stem. Am I off base here? Would the 54 perhaps be a better fit considering my dimensions?
