I’ve got a paper-thin gap between the crown race and carbon fork. Both 1 1/2, both brand new.
Contacted the manufacturer about facing the surface, they said not needed.
If it was an aluminium steerer i’d just send it, maybe keep an eye on it and readjust if needed. I’ve used chris king baseplates before on enve and whisky carbon forks with no problem, no gaps. A few taps and off you go. This fork is wolf tooth lithic, ck baseplate.
Any suggestions?
