When you say wheel, do you really mean tire? That piece went through the tire, but did it go through your metal rim? If not, replace the tire and you’re good. That’s impressive btw…I’ve been riding gatorskins for 10 years and usually nothing goes through them

I’d get a new wheel.

Just through the first wall of the rim? I can’t advise you what to do but personally I would epoxy the hole and sand smooth. The hole size is pretty small and would be similar to the access hole for the spoke

Nailed it! Screwed the pooch! I would remove everything from the wheel, tire and tape and do a thorough assessment. How much actually got damaged? Did the clincher get damaged? Is there more damage than just the inner bed? If it’s only limited to the damage of the width of a screw in the bed wall, I’d probably use it and inspect regularly. If the side of the rim got damaged then trash.

How old is that wheel? Who makes it. You could try to warranty it. It prolly won’t be eligible but they may offer you a discount on a new wheel

I’d try to replace the rim, if possible, rather than the entire wheel.

If it’s a decent carbon rim, it’s a fortune to replace, which may make repair economical. I’d expect a repair to be similar to a fibreglass repair:
1. drill the hole so that it is circular (less likely to split/crack),
2. grind back the area around the hole to make a ‘dip’
3. layering up with increasing diameter patches of kevlar mat & epoxy.
