I found this Bike on Jenson for just over $1k, discounted from $1699 USD. Specs look decent for a budget bike. I’m torn between this and the Salsa Journeyer Sora, which is $1299. Geometry looks pretty similar. I know the Apex is a better groupset overall but I would prefer the wider range of the 2x setup. Does anybody have either of these bikes who could chime in?

I test rode both with SRAM Apex and picked the Rocky Mountain because it was way cheaper at the time. I paid $1699 Canadian. It’s been great so far, and Apex is a decent groupset.
