So, my brother decided to buy a shimano pedals PD-ME700. In the Shimano website the weight is 540/pair, but, when I calculate it, is just 481/pair. The other website call it 480. So my question is, is my brothers buy a fake pedals or not. Please leave the comment to let me know, thanks you guys!

Not to be a jerk, but why are you worried about weight with heavy pedals?

Why would somebody go through all the trouble of making similar quality counterfeit $60 pedals? We aren’t talking titanium eggbeaters here…
