I’ve been trying to put my rear tire back on for 4 hours now with no luck. I saw a video where I’m supposed to put the derailer in the lowest gear and then bring the wheel underneath the chain and matchup up the chain with the lowest gear and once I push down it just locks in. Did all those steps but it’s not locking in. Any tips?

The thingy from the quick release is in the way. (Right dropout)
Unscrew the thingy, install the wheel and reinstall the QR.
