I’m looking to upgrade my Polygon Siskiu T8 brakes from the stock tektro brakes to Hayes Dominion A4s (or Magura MT7s).

My current rotors are 180mm, I’m thinking of keeping the rear rotor and upgrading the front to 203 rotor of the new brake company. Will I need a fork adapter dapter for the front 203 disc?

My current rotors are also centre lock, and I ready Hayes aren’t, so will that also need its own adapter? Will I have the same adapter requirements brs for the MT7s?

Is there anything else I need to consider in terms of compatability?

Yes you need the correct adapter every time you change rotor sizes. For a 203mm rotor you need a rotor that adds either +13mm or +23mm depending on the native mount size of your fork (160 or 180).

You can use center lock adapters like from DT Swiss if you want to use Hayes rotors or you can just use another brand’s center lock rotor with the Hayes brake caliper. With some exceptions rotors are rotors and the brand doesn’t need to match the brake. I’d just reuse your rear rotor unless it’s worn out or one of those garbage Shimano deals that only works either resin pads.
