Hey all,
My bike shop is saying that the head to the bolt (M2) which secures the derailleur hanger to my Ti drop outs is stripped.
It seems like the bolts go straight through the drop out meaning the drop out isn’t threaded. The shop seems to believe it’s an easy job but I am concerned about something going wrong.
They’ve tried an easy out/other methods but they haven’t worked due to it being so small.
Thoughts? My bike is my baby so maybe I al just being overly concerned?

Are they proposing to drill it out? I guess that’s what I’d do. I’d be surprised if there’s not a thread in the dropout though – does the bolt have a nut on the other side?
