It seems that 90% of riders don’t have a concept or clue when it comes to shims, methods of stacking and what each configuration is looking to achieve…
IMO the new damper is great new technology but it’s just as “useless”, rather underutilized without knowledge of what the changes/improvements are even capable of.
I won’t be swapping anytime soon but if I were to be in an enduro series with a mechanic on hand who can re-shim at my will? Sure I’d probably try it
