Had a topeak tetrarack M2L on my ebike for few weeks now and never was fond of the velcro straps it uses to attach to the seat stays. Becomes loose often and never gave confidence even after tightening the adjustment screws.
Today, got 1 3/4” hose clamps from homedepot, wrapped with heavy duty heat shrink and used it instead of velco straps and it is ridiculously strong !
I can now lift my 80lbs ebike just by holding the tetrarack and no play at all !
