Always a runner but new to biking. Have a $3-4k budget. Would like something to train and get me through a 70.3 IM in the future. Live on Long Island, NY and have plenty of roads but also paved preserves to ride through. A few cyclists have recommended Specialized – specifically Roubaix and Tarmac. Both look beautiful. Help is most appreciated!

If you’re flexible/plan on racing get the tarmac. Both are basically the same construction, Roubaix is more relaxed while tarmac is more aggressive
