I’m sure someone will chime in with the dampens spoke flex blah blah blah. But if the wheel is built right that’s a non issue. It’s basically the human version of “if I fits I sits” and offers no value and looks dumb af
Cause they want to, they just jam in there.
I used to hear people say they would count how many rotations it does in a given space while they’re in fakie so they don’t have to look backwards when they half cab or whatever they doing
I have a buddy who used to stick the plastic center from the cash register paper rolls from the place we worked at in his spokes cuz he could. And so he did. And that was all.

It’s to let other riders know that they are gay. But hey, it’s 2024 and we welcome them.
