I bought my Endurace CF SLX 8 Di2 used and the previous owner got a Canyon front mount attachment package with it. I’m not sure what all the pieces are though. I believe the Garmin attachment is currently installed on the mount. I know the piece with “WH” is for Wahoo. But what is “BRT” for? And what about the piece with the bump on it and no letters?

Also, what will I need if I want to mount my phone? Can I just get a quad lock or similar case and it will attach to one of these mounts? Or will I need a specific adapter? I will eventually get a bike computer, but I’d like to use my phone for now.

From my experience – don’t mount your phone on the bike. It’s a make-shift solution for when you’re too broke to spend ~300.- for a good value board computer + mount (like the Garmin Edge Explorer 2).

But if you ride anything but smooth tarmac, or have some kind of “accident”, your phone will be sent flying (at high speeds!). So if your phone is at least 300 bucks, save up and buy a good value board computer + mount (directly from canyon if possible! It needs to fit well!!!).

I speak from experience – tried 3 mounts and broke a phone. Wasted money!

I’ve had this bullshit Amazon piece… good luck it’s trash. The tiny screw that holds the garmin or wahoo connector piece is not deep enough… so when you twist the garmin the mount remains and takes the whole thing with it… finally gave up and bought original wahoo mount for 5x the cost
