Just picked up this IRO Mark V off of Market Place yesterday. Decided to replace my beater bike with this one. The geometry is much closer on this bike and my nicer one one than between my old beater and my nicer one.
Runs decently but the headset needs to be rebuilt. Only plan I have after that is to get a new stem and bars to match the silver and black colour way.
Super happy with this find.

Great, overall geo. Fits wide-ish tires (mine can clear 31mm, measured). Nice, clean, classic design and finishing. Teardrop tubing (some years). Some models also had premium tubing. IRO was also doing larger tire clearance frames 15 years ago (not new idea, for you youngsters) and had a variety of models. And all affordable.
I’ve had nicer, lighter, stiffer bikes, but my MV is probably in my forever stable. I can’t seem to let go of it 😂
