I knew these were going to be light, but HOT DAMN, I was not expecting them to be *this* light.
If anyone’s interested in the recipe:
Rims: Light Bicycle AR25 rims, 25mm int. width, 25mm deep, 250 grams
Spokes: Sapim D-Light
Hubs: DT Swiss 350
Nips: Sapim Alloy
I was inspired by Twisted Wheels and RidesOfJapan on YouTube: both guys swear by these rims. I would’ve preferred CX-Ray spokes and brass nipples, but I wanted to stay under $1k for everything. All in, I think it cost between $800-900 usd.
