Hey everyone. I have a 2021 Trek Roscoe 7 that needed a front shock replacement, so I put on a Rockshox 35 Gold Recon fork. The bike has Shimano MT200 brakes, and now the brake pad doesn’t fully engage with the front rotor (180mm). Rims are Bontrager Line Comp 40.
Do I simply need a larger rotor? If so, is there a way to determine the best rotor size or should I measure it/estimate to the best of my ability?
Thanks in advance!

Have you tried to mount the brake without the adapter?
The caliper is set up for a bigger rotor. Either change the rotor or set it up for 180mm.
Most likely your old fork was a 160 post mount that had a 20mm adapter and a 180 rotor, and the new fork is a 180 post mount. So you have two options:
Buy a 200mm rotor
Remove the 20mm adapter and reinstall the caliper using shorter bolts.
