    I’m not the best with parts on bmx but I do think maybe replacing that link if you have spare chain or maybe Try to bend it back with heat or something? Idk to much about bmx parts but that’s my ideas

    Hi. Professional bicycle mechanic here.

    1. Try using a chain tool to close it back up. This is the best option, and most likely to work. Only reason it won’t is if the side plate, or pin are damaged.
    2. Use a chain tool to remove that half link.
    3. Replace the whole chain.

  4. some half link chains aren’t supposed to be broken, and reconnected. I’d just get a new chain, if you aren’t positive that the link can be safely replaced.
    my buddy was pedaling super hard to cross a street and his chain snapped… he ate horrible shit and was almost ran over.
    sometimes replacing a part and spending a few bucks is the best decision.

    Remove and replace those two links, most chains should come with a few spare links
