  1. This is my pride and joy!!! I’ve had this Xtracycle Free Radical for a while now, originally bought for $300 and about 8 pounds of coffee beans. I built it up with another frame (pic 4) and had ridden it that way for the past year or so, but the rim brakes were a pain and I wanted to switch to disc. I used the opportunity to update the drivetrain as well, and had my local shop build me up a really nice pair of wheels. Last step for now is to switch the fork to a shorter one (pic 3) since the current fork is a bit long and causes the platform to slope down a bit, which functionally is fine but bothers me visually. New fork matches the axle-to-crown of the original fork that came with the frame.
