I was told that the disc brakes need to be replaced soon and I’m wondering how to check it.
Under the finger they feel alrightish, there is no big rant like in motorbikes or cars so I’m wondering how to check discs 🤔 is it because they might

There’s absolutely no way to tell from a photo.
You can only check by measuring the thickness, but you need accurate calipers or a micrometer for that. The minimum thickness is 1.5 mm. But again, you need accurate tools to measure it, since they start out at a thickness of 1.8mm, meaning that a disk with a thickness of 1.6 mm still has 33 % of its life left.
Get a vernier caliper and measure. If they’re thinner than 1.5mm you need to replace them.
