i recently build a bike for my gf, stripped down the paint, brazed disctabs, inner cable routing and a 1×11 drivetrain.
It‘s a wild, budget mix of sram and shimano, 11s sram nx shifter, 12s sram nx derailleur, 11s shimano deore 11-51 cassette.
since 11s and 12s sram systems share the same pullratio and the 11s cassetts of sram and shimano share the same distance between gears the setup works fine!
whole drivetrain was around 140€
The brakesystem is a mix of hope rx4 and magura hc-1 (i guess) and both are 2nd hand.
