I’m not sure if this is xbiking but I love this bike and rebuilt it entirely using used parts from our local bicycle thrift store, The Bicycle Collective. Some amazing modern classic finds from the Mavic wheels to the motorcycle style XT brakes. All in for maybe $300 not including the frame I bought new from the Qbp when I worked at REI in 2008. An $80 ebay chinese alphabet soup named carbon fork (Toseek??). And the Thomson post I picked up in 2009. An amazing around town ride. I’m super pumped to see it rolling again after being stripped to build my wife’s bike and gathering dust for six years.

That’s awesome! I’ve got a Scandium Chili Con Crosso. Those frames were so damn light for the time.
