First off let me apologize for all the crap in my nose and teeth during this video. It’s tough cycling 50+ miles a day, but that’s no excuse. I promise to do better in the future. I hope you still love me.
Alrighty then. After crossing the border from Turkey, my bicycle touring in Greece adventure begins. I immediately head towards the coastal town of Alexandroupoli.
The roads in Greece are perfect for bicycling. They’re empty and in excellent condition.
As soon as I arrived in town, I ordered a Greek salad before settling into a room. I was in Greece to do some bicycle touring, but I was also here to eat.
The next few days were some of the best days I ever spent bicycle touring. Most days, I was passed by less than a dozen cars. It was also spring, the wildflowers were in bloom, and the weather was perfect.

Greece in spring looks great cycling. Lots of green and spring flowers. Blue skies. Come summer it will be boiling and all brown burned from the heat and sun.
