With the recent updates to the Farley, it’s more in line with modern geo numbers and the build is pretty compelling with AdventX and a dropper with studdable tires for $2199. But I can’t ignore the Fezzari which is almost 5 lbs lighter at $2499 with SX or $2899 with GX Eagle. I like the Treks available frame bag accessories for setting up for bikepacking like Fat Pursuit, and the local dealer support, but from my research Fezzari has great customer service and good build quality. I could see buying the Kings Peak Comp and upgrading drivetrain and brakes down the line when things wear out. On the other hand the Farley seems ready to go and spec’d good enough for years of trouble free riding.

Leaning towards the King Peak because it’s so much lighter which would be nice for climbing around here, and because everyone online with one (including OutdoorGearLab) give it rave reviews. Any reason to go Farley?
