  2. Not at all, their paint with the branding is one of the ugliest in the industry.

    It’s the only reason I haven’t bought one of their seat posts yet.

    I actually just de anodized one of mine and I’m gonna be painting it soon. Expect to spend some time on it but if you like the silver look, go for it.

  4. You own it so do as you please. I’ve seen some custom anodized Thomson stems and they look great.

    I’ve got one in silver and black. I got lucky and definitely like the 17 degree raise /drop. If you make it silver then it will clash with your drops. Maybe you need to try out some different colour spacers or headset. I love colour splashes on bikes using quality components 🤤

    how do you de-anodize a bike part. how did you know that its anodizing and not electrostatic paint??

    for sure you can do whatever you want, its your own stuff. and polished metal looks nice. I have very parts who I remove the paint and then polished by polishing machine. and get a very clean result.
