This was my dad’s old bike he bought brand new in 1996. It’s been meticulously maintained and rides like a dream. I’ve been thinking about turning it into something i can ride more regularly.
I’ve already used an adapter shim to change my stem (i think it looks good), and i’m thinking about adding character with a basket or bike bags. The seat is original to the bike but it is so uncomfortable when on long rides, so i’d like to change that to something cool too – suggestions welcome.
I don’t know if this is the right place to post my bike, but i wanted to show it off. I’m really proud to own it and to be able to start using more it, after it’s been sat in my shed for years. Just needs a little bit more character/personality i think!!
