      I've done a few rides climbing, my tip: bring extra inner tubes/patches/plugs whatever you need to patch up tyres because some roads are ROUGH when you go into the mountains 😁

      Let me give you a little history lesson. All of Cyprus was Greece.
      When the turks invaded That's when The British involved themselves.

      Splitting the island and giving them half of it.. All of Cypress is Greece.

      All of what they call turkey today was Greece. Oldest churches are over there. They recently found Artemis statue and a gigantic stadium with Hercules statue in what they called turkey today.

      Actually all of the Middle East was Greece.
      Old pyramids around the world were built by the Greeks.
      They recently found Zeus's temple in Cairo.
      When they did DNA testing on the Pharaohs. They have Mediterranean DNA.
      They would use this ancient Greek computer to travel the planet and build the pyramids according to the stars. This device would help them position the pyramids according to the stars.

      Now my bloodline the Minoans from the Island Crete traveled all the way to the Americas extracted tons of copper from around the Great lakes and brought it back to Greece.

      The heart of Europe is Crete
      The first place to have running water, bathrooms, buildings, roads. Was on this island.

      I was in paphos in Aug 22, cycling in the troodos mountains is epic, it's a proper mountain with plenty of food stops. The village of osmodos is a must see

      I live in Paphos, on the road with the cycle path there are ramps but not on the corner also on that road you get lots of cyclist do time trials, I do MTB there are loads of good off road trails.

      A good option for winter / spring training. Nice one Laurence and thanks for highlighting. Croatias autumn spotive, the Porec 300km? Looks like an excellent event and course 👍

      Not a word about the division of the island. They even didn't see the frontier between the western and the eastern part. Not a word about the population. Not one description of a route or circuit.
      Poor review with nice images made with an expensive camera. No, very poor!
      And by the way Cyprus is a rather expensive destination!

      It's great cycling in Cyprus if you can avoid the town centres! I've done the SW coast roads; been up to Troodos (great climb proper stop points and water fountains); and time-trialled from Limassol to Ayia Napa. Good variety and zero issues with traffic
