Hi there, having avoid bike maintenance for most of my life, having kids has made it unavoidable. Any idea what’s causing the chain to pop off this kid’s bike? Is the chain just a bit too long?

The chain looks loose. You can loosen the nuts holding the rear wheel on and slide the wheel further back in the dropouts.
Bottom bracket needs adjusted and chain needs tightened. I seem to see the crank bobble a bit while you pedal it, leads me to believe there is play in there.
Looked like oval chainrings at first
At the very very end of the video the teeth against the white of the chain guard seem to travel quite a bit. Is the crank loose?
New chain or clean it well and lube it well. That thing is RIGID. Its wiggling like a snake. Looks like every link is a stuck link.. its hypnotic.
