One of my favorite bike! The geometry is the tightest I’ve ever seen, and the overlap is out of this world.
But the most intriguing aspect is the mysterious stories surrounding the batch of 30 frames ordered in the 90s by the Greek national team from a builder in Italy.
Allegedly, they were filled with heroin before being delivered. However, the Greek individual conducting business with the mafia was apprehended, resulting in the frames spending 10 years in customs before finally being released to a local velodrome in Athens…empty, of course.
