I always carry an extra tube in my bag, they don’t take up that much space and way rather just swap it out than to patch on the side of the road.
We’ve all been there bud. I always carry a spare tube, two if I’m commuting to work. Just quicker.
I fill my tube with 60 ml of Stan sealant & run schwalbe marathon greenguard tires. I also carry a spare tube ( without sealant)
