Where ought I find a model designation for this Shimano wheel set I was given a while back for a build. Was curious about the component model but it doesn’t seem to be marked or printed on the exterior. Is it likely to be marked under the interior liner? I figured even utility grade would list a model number.

The hub usually has some kind of marking. But the wheel as a whole may not be off the shelf but custom built. Red spoke nipples are not really common on complete wheels.
Either way, the usual method of labeling wheels and rims is by stickers between the spokes. If there aren’t any, it will be difficult to ID the rim or complete wheel.
The hub definitely looks like it’s a Shimano by the way. If it was sold separately it would be marked HB-something (hub). If it was sold as part of a wheel(set) it would be marked WH-something (wheel).
